Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Bury Forestwood is seeking a Senior Support Worker for CAMHS services. The role is a full-time contract (37.5 hours per week) with 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends at our Bury Forestwood site.

Successful applicants will undergo a 3-week full-time paid induction. The service provides Tier 4 PICU, General Acute and Low Secure settings with on-site amenities and education through Forestwood School.

Qualifications

• Experience as a support worker in mental health care.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends.
• Note: enhanced DBS check required or on completion.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
• Undertake supervisory and administrative responsibilities
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
