Job summary

A mental health service provider in the UK is seeking a Community CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Community CAMHS team in Thanet. This role requires an MB BS or equivalent, GMC registration, and experience handling mental disorders in children. The position offers a recruitment bonus and relocation support, along with flexible working arrangements, aiming to improve mental health care for children and youths in the community. This role is pivotal in enhancing mental health services in Kent and Medway, impacting 4,532 children in Broadstairs and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

  • Successful applicants will ideally have MRCPsych or equivalent.
  • Must be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register.
  • Must have Approved Clinician status and S12 approval.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an autonomous, registered practitioner.
  • Assess and develop care plans for patients.
  • Initiate referrals to other health professional services.

Ability to manage clinical complexity

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
Fully registered with the GMC with a Licence to Practise
