Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join the South Oxfordshire CAMHS Getting More Help team. The role involves managing a clinical caseload, delivering evidence-based interventions, and coordinating with schools, social care and other CAMHS services to provide integrated care for children and young people with moderate to severe mental illness.

The role is ideal for experienced band 5 practitioners moving to band 6 or current band 6 staff seeking broader experience

Qualifications

Experience of working within mental health settings including working with Children and Young People.
Knowledge and experience of assessing mental illness and providing treatment.

Responsibilities

Collaboratively assess, plan and provide evidence-based treatment programmes for children and young people referred to CAMHS Getting More Help team.
Take responsibility for an agreed clinical caseload, involving key working and providing therapeutic interventions.
Develop and maintain relevant and evidence-based therapeutic activities as appropriate to the patient’s needs.
Work closely with agencies including social care, schools and other CAMHS teams to develop/provide integrated services.
