Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain seeks a Service Manager to oversee Lewisham CAMHS from the Kaleidoscope centre. You will guide a management team of senior clinicians, drive modernisation in line with NHS plans, and ensure performance and quality targets are met while managing budgets.

This role blends operational leadership with hands-on service delivery and requires significant senior experience in running clinical services, including occasional late evenings or weekend days.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience running clinical services.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in health or social care.
• Ability to manage budgets and performance targets.

Responsibilities

• General management of Lewisham CAMHS day-to-day operations.
• Lead senior clinicians through the modernisation programme.
• Ensure service meets national and local performance targets and analyse activity data.
• Manage the service budget and implement cost improvement programmes.
• Prepare annual financial plans and report to commissioners.
• Lead strategic planning, funding proposals and SLAs with commissioners.
• Collaborate with partner agencies on service development.
• Recruit, appraise, supervise, and develop staff; manage HR processes.
• Oversee health and safety, risk management and complaints; conduct clinical work.
• Inform stakeholders and represent the Directorate in meetings.
