Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced, compassionate Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Single Point of Access Team. You will welcome referrals from professionals and families and help direct them to the right pathway of support.

The role involves clinical triage, comprehensive assessments, risk and safeguarding considerations, and working with children, young people, families and partner agencies to identify appropriate CAMHS interventions.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in CAMHS or children and young people services preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical triage and comprehensive assessments.
• Gather clinical and psychosocial information and assess risk and safeguarding concerns.
• Determine urgency and appropriate referral pathways and provide signposting.
