Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join the Duty & Assessment Team. The post focuses on autonomous clinical practice, leading initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and young people with complex mental health needs.

You will work within a multidisciplinary CAMHS setting, applying evidence-based approaches, safeguarding principles, and collaborative care planning with families and carers.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Children, Adolescents and Families presenting complex mental health needs.
• Ability to work autonomously at Band 7 and manage caseloads with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of CAMHS and/or adult mental health and safeguarding.

Aufgaben

• Manage your own caseload with high-quality care tailored to each child or young person.
• Perform mental state and risk assessments, and social/family assessments.
• Provide interventions and consult with colleagues, including supervision and EBPs.
• Take on treatment components where appropriate while contributing to team goals.
