Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) seeks a Senior CAMHS Youth Justice Practitioner/Clinical Psychologist to join North Manchester CAMHS. The role combines CAMHS clinical work with Youth Justice duties, including neurodevelopmental assessment experience and multi-agency collaboration.

The post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, based in North Manchester CAMHS at The Bridge and surrounding services. NHS AfC Band 7 with a pro rata salary £49,387–£56,515 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing neurodevelopmental conditions is advantageous.
• Ability to manage own caseload within a Youth Justice and CAMHS multi-disciplinary context.
• Experience working in multi-agency settings (social care, police, courts).

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals from Manchester Youth Justice Service.
• Develop formulations and intervention plans with patients and families.
• Coordinate with referrers and professionals on care plans.
• Manage caseload within the Youth Justice team and participate in supervision.
• Attend multidisciplinary and multi-agency meetings.
• Provide written reports within required timescales.
