NELFT NHS Foundation Trust’s CAMHS service seeks an experienced practitioner to provide assessments anddiagnostic support for young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health issues. The role includes acting as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber and prioritising a diverse workload with minimal supervision.

The post holder will work autonomously and with a wide range of health professionals and agencies, delivering high standards of care to children and young people, including home

Qualifications

• Independent Non-Medical Prescriber in CAMHS.
• Registration with HCPC/BABCP/UKCP/NMC as applicable.
• Ability to assess and plan care for children and young people with mental health needs.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and prioritise own and team workload.
• Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with GPs and multi-disciplinary teams within CAMHS.
• Provide assessments and diagnostic support in clinics and in service users' homes.
• Mentor staff and contribute to service development.
