In this project, you will be working on providing accounting requirements for systems designed for a UK legal entity.

Responsibilities

• Identifying Calypso business requirements (user stories, gemba, prototyping, etc.)
• Analyzing AS IS processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement
• Designing TO BE processes, analyzing requirements for feasibility and consistency
• Preparing functional specifications and use cases
• Configuring business rules in systems
• Participating in system and integration testing, coordinating user testing
• Identifying problems and resolving project dependencies

Skills

Must have

• Work with users to clarify and refine requirements
• Building Calypso configurations and managing them through test environments into production
• Experience investigating, understanding, and scaling existing solutions
• Supporting integration testing and UAT
• Defining test cases for manual or automated testing
• Collaborative work with developers and testers to deliver solutions
• Basic technical skills: Jenkins, SQL, XML, Calypso knowledge
• Experience with Calypso objects (trade, transfer, message) and configuring workflows
• Knowledge of products such as bonds, repos, loans/deposits, FX, transfer agents, etc.
• Understanding of security setup, valuation, Bloomberg mapping, quotes, haircuts
• Handling task stations and exceptions
• Knowledge of inputs/outputs in Calypso environment (Swift MT/MX, messages, reporting, accounting)
• Setting up static data in Calypso
• Understanding Calypso's operation in connected environments with queues

Nice to have

• Experience with CATT (Calypso Automated Testing Tool)
• PL/SQL (Oracle), Python
