Job summary

ZenaTech Inc - Casado Design Ltd. is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to produce accurate technical drawings, manage QA, and support design delivery from the Hewish office near Weston-super-Mare. You will own drawing quality and coordinate with the Design Manager and project team.

The role requires substantial CAD experience, strong AutoCAD LT skills, and the ability to work independently while guiding junior technicians and collaborating with designers.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience producing technical drawings in a senior CAD role.
• Experience in mobile telecoms infrastructure or similar industry preferred.
• Proven QA experience including check, revision control and records.

Responsibilities

• Produce, update and issue CAD drawings and technical docs to standards.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency before issue.
• Apply QA procedures including checks, revisions and approvals.
• Coordinate drawing info with the Design Manager and project team.
• Maintain organised files and records for traceability.
• Support and guide junior technicians in CAD/QA practices.
• Identify recurring errors and improve drawing workflows and standards.
