Casado Design, part of ZenaTech Inc., is seeking a reliable 2D CAD Technician to join our team. You will work to produce, update and maintain accurate 2D technical drawings within a professional office setting.

The ideal candidate has CAD experience, an organised approach, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in AutoCAD LT is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD Full, Revit or SketchUp is a plus. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional office or technical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with AutoCAD LT and CAD tools.
• Experience reading/producing technical drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Full, Revit or SketchUp preferred, not required.
• Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce and amend 2D CAD drawings from sketches, specs, and project data.
• Update drawings based on internal or client feedback.
• Check drawings for accuracy, consistency, completeness.
• Maintain organised drawing files, records and version control.
• Liaise professionally with colleagues, clients and project stakeholders.
• Manage priorities and complete work within deadlines.
• Follow company drawing standards and quality procedures.
• Provide general technical and project support as required.
