Senior CAD Designer – Aberdeen

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior CAD Designer to join a specialist team in Aberdeen, working on a wide range of technically challenging projects in the global energy sector. This is a pivotal role offering the chance to contribute to the design of subsea structures and pipeline systems, within a forward-thinking and collaborative engineering environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D models and technical drawings for complex subsea systems. This position demands a strong eye for detail, a proactive approach to solving design challenges, and close collaboration with engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy and delivery to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and technical drawings for piping and structural subsea systems

• Prepare detailed documentation to support engineering and fabrication activities

• Ensure all design outputs comply with internal standards and industry regulations

• Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret and refine technical requirements

• Identify and resolve design issues during development phases

• Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all deliverables

• Apply revisions and updates based on feedback and evolving project needs

• Support continuous improvement in design workflows and practices
