CAD Design EngineerLocation: UK (Remote working available)Rate: £250-300 per day (Outside IR35)The role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Contract CAD Design Engineer to join our clients’ growing team.

The successful CAD Design Engineer candidate will be responsible for transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software, supporting the development and manufacturing of high-quality products. A strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes is essential, along with proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of product concepts from initial artistic visualization through CAD design
• Prepare detailed product specifications and technical data to support Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
• Collaborate with Technical Services to develop solutions for the installation and display of new or upgraded gaming equipment
• Continuously evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes and materials to improve product quality and operational efficiency
• Update legacy 2D drawings by converting them into 3D models using SolidWorks or similar tools
• Contribute to the design and ongoing development of existing casino furniture and related products
• Demonstrate a strong passion for product development and a willingness to learn and adopt new skills
• Perform additional duties as required to meet evolving business demands

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in CAD and CAM;
• Experience in furniture design is a plus
• Experience with IMOS, Solidworks or similar products
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, internally and externally
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a cooperative working environment
