Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced CAD engineer to strengthen its chip design automation infrastructure. You will help deliver scalable simulations, optimize performance, and reduce resource requirements across large-scale runs.

Collaboration with vendors and internal teams will be key as you debug issues on complex models. Required are a strong background in RTL simulation, Linux, and scripting with Python or Perl.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, CS, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of RTL simulation tools experience.
• Strong Linux and grid computing knowledge.
• Proficient in Python or Perl scripting.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure for automating chip design processes.
• Develop and deploy new methodologies with vendor and internal teams.
• Support and debug issues on large-scale simulations.
