Job summary

Apple's CAD Hardware Tech team in Cambridge is seeking an experienced CAD engineer to automate chip design processes and optimize large-scale simulations. You will help develop scalable infrastructure, deploy new methodologies with internal and vendor teams, and troubleshoot complex simulation issues.

The role requires strong RTL experience, Linux/Grid computing, and scripting skills (Python/Perl). English fluency and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on RTL simulation tools.
• Strong foundation on Linux and grid computing systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and be productive under tight schedules.
• Fluency in English
