Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced CAD engineer to help automate chip design processes and optimize large-scale simulations. You will develop infrastructure and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deploy new methodologies for high-performance chip design workflows.

Candidates should have a strong background in RTL simulation, Linux/grid computing, and scripting (Python/Perl), with excellent teamwork and English proficiency to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on RTL simulation tools
• Strong foundation on Linux and grid computing systems
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to work well within a team and be productive under tight schedules
• Fluency in English
