Job summary

Renishaw plc; Senior Software Engineer for MODUS IM, a metrology software platform. Based in Gloucestershire, the role offers hybrid work with 3 days on-site. Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, with strong benefits and a global engineering environment.

The candidate will design, develop and maintain software in a large C#/.NET codebase, contribute to architecture, and apply mathematical and geometric principles to data processing and visualization.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and architecture.
• Experience applying software engineering processes across the lifecycle.
• Comfort with math and linear algebra to solve software problems.
• Ability to analyse complex requirements and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality software for MODUS IM product.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and scalable app design.
• Deliver new features and enhancements in a large C#/.NET codebase.
• Apply mathematical and geometric principles to data processing and visualization.
• Collaborate with engineers, product specialists and domain experts to deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and technical discussions to maintain standards.
• Support continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
