Job summary

px Group is recruiting a Senior C&I Engineer for our Aberdeen operation. The role provides site support for control and instrumentation at St Fergus Gas Terminal, working closely with maintenance and operations to deliver reliable C&I solutions.

You will be supported by coaching and development reviews to grow competencies in fault diagnosis, modification design, and safety-focused engineering in a high hazard industry.

Qualifications

• HNC in Control or Instrumentation or equivalent.
• Experience with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 functional safety.
• Experience with offshore documentation (MIST, BOISET) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous site support for C&I on assigned work scopes.
• Serve as primary interface between engineering and terminal teams for C&I matters.
• Review and approve work scopes and provide supervision for C&I and metering teams.
• Maximise equipment availability and participate in maintenance planning.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and company procedures.
• Contribute to HAZOPs, LOPA, and SIL verification/validation.
