Job summary

Matched is a UK-based client seeking a seasoned C++ developer. Mostly remote in England with a Berkshire office on day 1 to collect equipment. You will focus on outcomes rather than activity, using C++17+ to build and maintain software.

You will contribute to a strong development culture through code reviews, standards, and mentoring. You will produce new software end-to-end from design to delivery, contribute to design and ongoing maintenance, deliver high-level system designs, and collaborate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial C++ experience.
• C++17 or higher mandatory.
• Experience with Qt preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON and RESTful APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce new software end-to-end from design to delivery.
• Contribute to design and ongoing maintenance of software.
• Deliver high-level system designs.
• Collaborate across multiple teams in agile stand-ups and sprint reviews.
• Mentor team members and uphold coding standards.
