Job summary

Flow Traders is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our Amsterdam team. You will help build our low-latency, event-driven trading platform, serving Researchers and Traders with real-time analysis and decision support.

You will lead development of Core platform and collaborate with quants, technologists and traders to deliver scalable, reliable software. The role emphasizes performance tuning, code quality, and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional C++ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and global rollout of our Core platform used across multiple business groups.
• Develop tools to support data-driven pricing and trading strategies.
• Work with quants and traders to refine requirements and implement platform features.
• Integrate exchange connectivity and optimize network communications.
• Prepare for releases and deployments of trading engine versions.
