Senior C# Engineer, Front Office | Commodities & Energy Trading | £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A Senior C# Engineer is needed for a fast-growing Commodities & Energy Trading firm that has more than doubled its technology team over the past 24 months. The business trades a wide range of energy products and, following continued success, brought all technology development in-house two years ago as it expands into new Power, Oil, Gas and broader energy derivatives markets.

As a Senior C# Engineer, you will play a key hands‑on role in architecture, system design and delivery of front‑office trading systems. This is a senior individual contributor position focused on engineering excellence rather than line management. You’ll work closely with the Head of Development & Architecture to understand business requirements, shape technical solutions and deliver robust, scalable systems.

Because the firm operates ETRM/CTRM platforms, prior experience in commodities or energy trading is highly desirable, particularly with exposure to the trade lifecycle. Candidates from other front‑office asset classes with OMS experience will also be considered.
