Job summary

Client Server invites a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and own features for a large desktop platform in the Fintech space. You will work within an Agile team on highly scalable systems, driving architectural decisions and delivering robust software.

The role combines hands-on leadership with collaboration across Product and other engineering teams, in a hybrid model based in Reigate, with flexibility for WFH and in-person alignments.

Qualifications

• Expertise with C# .NET Core backend development on large, scalable systems.
• Strong technical leadership experience, owning features end-to-end.
• Collaborative and pragmatic, able to influence senior engineers.
• Advocate of clean, reusable, maintainable code and MS best practices.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms.
• Understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Appreciation of Azure, SaaS, PaaS, microservices.
• Degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science) with math.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop new features for the flagship desktop platform.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and other teams on design decisions.
• Input into technical choices and provide ownership in an Agile environment.
• Ensure high levels of security, reliability, maintainability, usability and performance.
