Zachary Daniels Recruitment is representing an award-winning international fashion retailer seeking a Senior Buyer for womenswear dresses and tops. The role is hybrid and involves owning the daywear category, trading daily, and partnering with Design, Merchandising and suppliers to deliver trend-led, commercially successful ranges.

You will analyse sales, identify opportunities, manage risks, negotiate costs to improve margins, and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Womenswear buying experience in fashion retail.
• Strong commercial awareness with trend-led approach.
• Confident trading a department and making commercial decisions.
• Analytical with Excel data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Organised, proactive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in ecommerce advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and trade commercially successful product ranges.
• Collaborate with Design and Merchandising to build balanced collections.
• Analyze sales and trends to identify opportunities and manage risk.
• Source and develop products with suppliers, negotiating costs.
• Manage critical path to ensure timely launches.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps.
• Build strong supplier relationships and travel as needed.
• Support and mentor junior Buying team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive growth.
