Zachary Daniels Recruitment is assisting an established UK fashion retailer to recruit a Merchandising Manager. You will own trading strategy and performance for your area, working with senior leadership, Buying and the wider commercial team to drive growth and margin.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Merchandising Manager or Senior Merchandiser.
• Commercially sharp with strong analytical skills and the confidence to present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading or developing others is a strong advantage.
• Adaptable — comfortable supporting change and integration as the business grows through acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales, stock and intake strategy for your categories, ensuring plans are commercially robust and aligned to targets.
• Lead trade analysis and reporting, identify risk and opportunity and translate insight into action.
• Partner with Buying to shape range planning, OTB and future strategy.
• Manage markdown, promotions and clearance to protect margin while maximising sell-through.
• Support integration of merchandising processes as the business grows.
• Manage and develop team members within the function as it expands.
• Build relationships with Buying, Supply Chain, Retail and senior stakeholders.
