Job summary

Proprec in Redditch is seeking a Senior Buyer to own supplier relationships, sourcing strategies and purchasing activities across a varied product portfolio. You will be the standalone Buyer in the Redditch team, collaborating with stakeholders to source competitively, ensure on-time delivery and align with growth plans.

The role offers autonomy with real ownership, a strong negotiation focus, and opportunities to drive cost savings across the supply base.

Qualifications

• Senior Buyer with supplier relationship management experience.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and analysing purchasing data.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate best commercial agreements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver value across the supply base.
• Source new products and suppliers to support business growth.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply risks.
• Work with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure stock availability and continuity of supply.
• Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
