An ambitious SME organisation providing procurement services to the food and hospitality sector is looking to recruit a Senior Buyer. The role will be remotely based with weekly travel to the West Midlands office, as well as travel to suppliers and client sites.
Your new role
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing procurement of food within the hospitality sector. Key responsibilities include building and managing relationships with suppliers, monitoring key trends and pricing, negotiation, sourcing, supply chain management, supplier performance, and RFP and supplier selection. The Senior Buyer will also review procurement processes and make recommendations for improvement.
