Are you ready to make a lasting impact on one of the UK's largest rail infrastructure projects? A leading rail company is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their dynamic procurement team, overseeing critical purchasing activities for a massive rail infrastructure project in the Birmingham area.

The Role

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in securing essential goods and services that drive this landmark project forward. You'll work closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure cost-effective, timely procurement while maintaining the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies for materials and services related to the rail infrastructure project.

Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to optimize costs and ensure quality compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement objectives with project milestones.

Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements within the rail industry.
