Here within the @one Alliance, we are a totally collaborative organization made up of our seven partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO) and our extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

Essential to our success in procurement objectives and managing the effective, timely procurement of goods and services across the Alliance, we are seeking a Senior Buyer to join our team.

What you will be doing as our new Senior Buyer

As a Senior Buyer, you’ll implement procurement strategies by challenging and negotiating transactions with framework and non-framework partners. You will be fully integrated within project teams, ensuring all deliverables are achieved by supporting early engagement with strategic partners during project initiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggregate demand across Water Recycling and Water programme areas, ensuring all relevant information supports procurement.
• Use ethical and robust methods to promote correct selection of supply chain partners.
• Support on-time delivery, managing and escalating risks as needed.
• Implement health & safety processes throughout project cycles.
• Issue performance scorecards and provide feedback to supply chain partners.
• Ensure all deliverables are received within agreed timeframes.
• Identify and implement efficiencies via value-added approaches.
• Manage stakeholders proactively, providing updates, reports, and fostering innovation.
