The RoleDue to
continued business growth, we're expanding our
Supply Chain team and are looking for an experienced
Buyer to join us in this newly created role. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a

supply chain operations as we scale.
We're seeking a candidate with
renewables experience, particularly in
supply chain engagement, who can bring valuable industry insights and expertise to support our evolving needs.
Principle AccountabilitiesReporting directly to the
Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you'll take ownership of
day-to-day operational purchasing, ensuring smooth processes and efficiency across the business. You'll collaborate with teams at
Divisional and Group levels, gaining valuable exposure to broader supply chain operations while making a meaningful impact. Implementation of Supply Chain strategy at an operational level
- Day to day operational and performance management of key supplier partners to include continuous improvement activity, implementation of business and group strategy and support on cost saving activity
- Primary contact for operational queries, including regular reviews and feedback sessions
- Feedback and close cooperation with the group commodity management team
- Performance and supplier management
- Procurement support, to include product specification support, liaison with suppliers and contract review to ensure meets JFR requirements
- Support non-core vendor selection and qualification in close liaison with Supply Chain Manager
- Ensuring commoditised contracts meet the requirements of JFR
- Ensure early and continuous integration of the Purchasing function into projects
- Engagement with key stakeholders is essential to the role
- Ensure that timely communication of all internal reports is met
- Drive process rollouts and improvements as required
- Oversight of supply chain mapping coverage
- Post award management, expediting & minor dispute resolution experience
Qualifications and Experience - Experience is required, preferably within Renewables Industry
- Good knowledge of P2P processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office programmes particularly excel
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyse information and processes
- Motivation to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
- Commitment to ethical behaviour with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and to drive behaviours throughout the business
- To work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business
