We’re here for the first step, the next step, and the big step.

You’re not just a number to us. You’ve got to know you’ll love working here. It’s as important to us as you ‘being the right fit’. We want to help you feel what it’s like to work at Evri, see the value you can bring to any of our roles, and understand how we can help you grow. We’re never one-size-fits-all. Our careers are as unique as you are.

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to support value delivery to the business through strategic procurement and execution of core P2P processes, including cost reduction, supply chain resilience, risk mitigation, and ESG enablement.

Evri is leading the way in creating responsible delivery experiences for everyone, everywhere, and that’s how we approach our talent development. We’re a kind, ambitious, and diverse team, always supporting and encouraging each other. Our people are extremely important to our business; without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today, striving to do the best for our customers and clients. If you like what you hear, then we’d love you to apply!

You will be accountable for:

  • Category management: Learn and be able to lead (with support) EVRi’s 5-step category management process for IT spend areas. With direction from procurement leadership, be accountable for delivering cost reduction and cash flow benefits for IT spend areas. Develop and influence strategies to improve Total Cost of Ownership, quality, service levels, ESG impact, CAPEX, cash flow, and cost savings within specific IT categories. Build expertise in specific categories, including commercial models, supply markets, and purchasing dynamics.
  • Analysis: Lead critical commercial analyses for categories under management, including baseline development, validation with finance, RFP bid analysis, and savings calculations. Communicate analysis outputs and interpret what they mean for the business or procurement decisions.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Collaborate with procurement leadership to develop negotiation strategies for key suppliers. Lead contract negotiations and management for various procurement activities with senior management support. Apply standard contract terms and negotiate as needed.
  • Contract & Supplier Management: Monitor in-contract performance of key suppliers, manage cost variations with finance, and serve as the escalation point for supplier performance issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with and influence senior managers and department heads, building strong relationships and managing expectations in line with procurement policies. Contribute to policy development.
  • Project Management: Develop work plans and timelines for savings or improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery within deadlines, including stakeholder engagement for contract approval and savings realization.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, STEM) is advantageous.
  • CIPS Level 2/3 (or working towards) is advantageous.
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Buyer or in a similar commercial role.
  • Strong financial awareness, experience working within and influencing budgets and cash flow.
  • Knowledge of commercial levers influencing procurement spend.
  • A results-driven mindset in a professional or operational environment.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of financial accounting principles related to cash flow, savings, and OPEX/CAPEX.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Experience in logistics or retail industries is a plus.

Why Work Here?

We’re committed to becoming a more inclusive and diverse employer, and our benefits package reflects this. Here’s what we currently offer:

  • Flexible working: work from home or in the office, with flexible patterns—full-time or part-time options available.
  • 26 days + bank holidays, with options to buy or sell up to 5 days of holiday.
  • Bonus scheme: earn up to 15% annual bonus based on performance.
  • Pension: 3% employer contribution on top of your contributions.
  • Discounts from our partners.
  • Flexible benefits: additional life assurance, critical illness insurances, and more.
  • New benefit: request to work from anywhere in the world for up to 90 days.
