Senior Procurement Headhunter & Recruitment at Beaumont Select Ltd – a great opportunity for an ambitious Senior Buyer to support the growth of a greenfield procurement function within an exciting and innovative organisation.

We are partnering with a world-class innovation and research centre as they embark on an exciting growth journey. The Senior Buyer is a newly created position within a greenfield Procurement team, supporting the Head of Procurement and wider team in delivering first-class procurement activity and developing robust systems and processes across the group.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the cradle-to-grave procurement process for a variety of goods and services.
• Own the category strategy, support supplier onboarding, and monitor procurement systems.
• Lead across all areas of the purchasing process and act as the key interface for stakeholder groups, including scientists and professors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure robust procurement practices and supplier performance.

Qualifications and requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience across a broad range of procurement categories and the ability to lead end-to-end procurement activities.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Location and other details

Our client is based in Oxford and will require you to be on site a minimum of 3 days a week. You must have the right to work permanently in the UK.
