We encourage you to think big and act boldly by expressing your authentic self. Anaplan is seeking a Business Value Consultant to join our Business Value & Strategy Team. This role involves developing transformational planning visions and roadmaps with our strategic customers worldwide, focusing on influential customer interactions, sales strategies grounded in business impact, and guiding customers through their connected planning maturity. Collaborating across various functions within Anaplan, we lead planning transformations in finance, supply chain, sales, and workforce planning across industries, providing guidance and best practices to capture value from these transformations.

The team emphasizes key customer interactions, sales strategies based on business impact, and creating deliverables that help customers justify their connected planning visions.

This role will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Leading the creation of vision and roadmap documents used by senior executives to drive business impact, in collaboration with account teams and select customers.
  2. Developing perspectives and supporting materials to showcase the stories of business transformation and impact.
  3. Scaling impact by creating reusable assets for others across Anaplan to enhance customer engagements.

Insights on your impact:

  • Conducting and facilitating research around customer’s business processes, industry trends, and business value analysis.
  • Leading vision, transformation, and value assessment sessions with customers, including facilitation, analysis, and delivering high-impact presentations to CxOs, working cross-functionally with Sales and Presales teams.
  • Building strong relationships with regional sales leaders to drive strategic account planning and engagements.
  • Contributing to the development of the Business Value & Strategy team capabilities.
  • Influencing others to facilitate value-focused discovery and deliver consistent, high-impact business value.
  • Creating and managing library assets, including value frameworks and sales assets, to scale the team's reach.

Your qualifications and influence:

To succeed, you should have:

  • Experience in value engineering, value selling, strategic consulting, and F500 account sales in cloud environments, with a deep understanding of value selling methodologies and business models.
  • Strong discernment in Planning & Analysis processes (Financial and Operational).
  • Proven facilitation skills with senior executives.
  • Ability to provide valuable insights and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis skills supporting key opportunities.
  • Experience supporting and improving a GTM value practice.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% post WFH period.

Preferred skills and technical familiarity:
