The main purpose of this role is to work both technically and functionally to deliver new enhancements and functionalities using the global Unit 4 ERP suite. The role involves system support, internal consulting, and stakeholder engagement.

You will assist the Business Systems Manager/Team Leader in gathering requirements to deliver solutions that meet practice needs.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery of system enhancements, improvements, and projects;
• Identify opportunities for future enhancements within the Unit 4 ERP suite;
• Collaborate with internal project teams to improve data sharing and reduce inefficiencies;
• Support business process changes related to systems;
• Provide 3rd line support for Unit 4 ERP;
• Enforce governance around QA, change management, and documentation; maintain a knowledge base;
• Possess good IT knowledge;
• Support ERP systems, preferably Unit 4;
• Create, document, and implement solutions based on requirements;
• Understand ERP support systems and leverage them effectively;
• Manage stakeholders at all levels and liaise with third parties;
• Have SQL experience and knowledge (preferential);
• Prioritize workload based on impact and severity;
• Write test scripts and ensure solution quality before user acceptance testing;
• Test and document patches/bug fixes before deployment;
• Monitor and manage interfaces;
• Experience transitioning from on-premise to cloud environments;
• Experience with integrations, point solutions, or other ERPs;
• Educational requirements: secondary education, HND/C, or degree.
