Your role in our mission…..
We are seeking a Senior Business Manager to join our team in northern England.
This is an exciting time at Marie Curie as we enter a phase of change, collaboration, and partnership with other organizations to enhance access to quality end-of-life care. We aim to develop tailored approaches for different communities based on public health needs, existing assets, and untapped resources.
You will serve as the commercial expert for your designated region in the UK, providing advice and support to the Associate Director on business development and management. This includes gathering intelligence, developing proposals and tenders, and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
You will collaborate with health and social care sector commissioners to build effective relationships, maximize income from existing and new services, and foster service innovation. You will be supported by 1-2 Business Managers, depending on your area.
This role directly contributes to Marie Curie’s growth through managing proposals, tenders, and funding applications, following standard processes for business case development, contract approval, and risk assessment. Application Process
Salary: £43,250 - £48,048, depending on skills, knowledge, and experience (MCJES Grade F)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Flexible throughout Yorkshire, North East, and North West England, with regional travel and home-based work.
