Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Senior BI Developer in Wolverhampton to design, build, and own scalable BI solutions that drive decision-making across the business. You will take ownership of the BI lifecycle from ingestion to visualization, delivering insights on pricing, customer behaviour and revenue performance.

The role requires 5+ years in BI/data analytics, strong SQL/data modelling, and advanced Power BI skills. On-site work is expected with around two days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI, data analytics, or BI development.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling experience.
• Strong Power BI expertise including DAX and performance tuning.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with commercial and financial metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.

Job Opportunity – Senior BI Developer

Wolverhampton (2 days on-site) Salary: £70,000

We’re currently looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Senior BI Developer to design, build, and own scalable business intelligence solutions that directly influence decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI solutions
• Build and optimise SQL-based data models for reporting and analytics
• Design and manage ETL / ELT pipelines (Power Automate, Fabric Data Factory, or similar)
• Own the end-to-end BI lifecycle from data ingestion to visualisation
• Deliver commercial insights into pricing, customer behaviour, and revenue performance
• Define and monitor KPIs across sales, marketing, and product
• Drive automation and self-service BI reporting
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and performance
• Present insights to senior stakeholders
• Mentor junior BI developers / analysts

Required Experience
