Job summary

Harnham is recruiting a Senior BI Developer / Senior Data Analyst for a leading UK automotive parts business undergoing a data and reporting transformation. The role sits between BI development and commercial analytics, blending technical delivery with stakeholder engagement.

You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, build semantic models, and drive adoption of self-service analytics across Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operations. Hybrid role with 3 days onsite at client sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in BI, Data Analytics, or BI Development.
• Strong Power BI experience including DAX, Power Query, Data modelling and Performance optimisation.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience designing dimensional data models and semantic layers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

I'm hiring a Senior BI Developer / Senior Data Analyst for one of the UK's largest automotive parts businesses, currently investing heavily in data, analytics, and modern reporting capabilities.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business going through significant transformation, helping move the organisation from manual reporting and legacy processes towards automated reporting, self-service analytics, and ultimately more advanced analytical capabilities.

Following significant investment and ambitious growth plans, the business is modernising its technology and analytics landscape, having recently migrated to Azure and begun investing heavily in data and reporting capability.

The role

This is a hybrid role sitting between Business Intelligence Development and Commercial Analytics.

What you'll be doing

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.


• Build scalable semantic models and reusable datasets.
