Job description

  • You’ll sell Concurrent PMS, StuRents’ industry-leading Property Management Software (PMS), to student (80%) and residential (20%) lettings agencies,
  • You’ll establish new networks of customers and build strong relationships on the existing ones, always remaining in touch with and abreast of the current market, the industry and your clients’ trends and changes,
  • You’ll create and develop new business opportunities – (1) Prospect and proactively self-generate leads: identifying appropriate potential customers; (2) strengthen existing relationships: identifying potential synergies of appropriate existing and future products with existing customers; and (3) qualify and follow up on existing leads to deliver your targets.
  • You’ll increase product and service engagement through demonstrating the relevant parts of our product to new and existing customers.
  • You’ll work directly with the marketing team, developing sales collateral, event attendance plans and creating content that supports the wider go-to-market strategy.
  • You’ll forecast/budget your pipeline, ensuring you communicate any material changes proactively and deliver towards agreed revenue targets.
  • You’ll work closely with the customer success team to enable and support the successful onboarding of customers and maintain a great experience and journey for them.
  • You’ll work cross-functionally (internally and externally - with customers, your immediate team as well as the product, finance and customer success teams).
  • You’ll maintain a strong foundational pipeline (creating and maintaining customer records), forecasting, and continuously improving our CRM practices.
  • You’ll regularly network and represent Concurrent PMS at industry conferences and events (in person and online), with opportunities to deliver presentations.
  • You’ll gain insight - from customers - into potential future product enhancements and work with the product team to help them understand the requirements and rank them for future enhancement cycles.
  • You’ll regularly collaborate with your teammates across the company in multiple teams to align and optimise efforts and share objective insights. Working together to optimise lead generation strategies, messaging, and conversion.
  • Personal and professional (sales) growth enablement: Keeping yourself proactively up to date with StuRents product features, benefits and our competitive advantage (and building efficient, effective and repeatable practices to do so). Leveraging the knowledge to effectively share value propositions with potential, new and existing customers.
  • You’ll track and report on your key metrics relating to outreach activities, lead generation, and conversation rates. Sharing knowledge, learnings, wisdom and insights with the team and wider company.
  • And finally, we all love rolling up our sleeves to do our bit to keep StuRents an awesome place to work. You'll be a willing participant in one (or more - up to you!) of our cultural clubs, from working with our social society all the way through to coming up with your own regular culturally contributing club/initiative at StuRents.
