Senior Business Development Manager – Bridging & Development Finance

We are working with an established, fast-growing entrepreneurial lender looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of its Bridging and Development Finance proposition. To be considered, you MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN BRIDGING OR DEVELOPMENT FINANCE

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious BDM with strong intermediary relationships who wants to join a growing business where they can have genuine influence, build their own market presence and progress into a more senior role over time.

The Role

You will be responsible for originating new Bridging and Development Finance opportunities while developing and expanding relationships with brokers, introducers and other intermediaries across England and Wales.

The role will suit somebody who is highly commercial, relationship-driven and comfortable generating business through their own network as well as developing new introducer relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Originating new Bridging and Development Finance enquiries
• Developing and managing relationships with brokers, introducers and intermediary partners
• Growing an existing network while identifying new business opportunities
• Building a strong pipeline of quality lending opportunities
• Working closely with the wider lending team to progress transactions through to completion
• Representing the lender within the specialist finance market

About You

We are looking for somebody with:

• Experience within Business Development Bridging Finance and/or Development Finance
• An established network of brokers, introducers or other direct sourcing relationships
• A proven ability to originate new lending opportunities
• Strong relationship management and business development skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive, self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach
• Strong organisation and pipeline management skills
• High levels of integrity and professionalism
• Ambition to develop into a more senior position as the business continues to grow

Commission & Earnings

As well as a basic salary of up to £80k (DOE) the role offers an uncapped commission structure of 0.1% of completed lending.

Commission is directly linked to completed business, giving successful BDMs clear and transparent earning potential as their lending volumes grow.
