We are seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager (Hybrid) with proven experience in the consulting industry to lead and execute our sales and marketing strategy. This individual will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities, expanding into new markets, and supporting the long-term growth of Embed UK and Littelfuse product lines.

About the job:

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Identify and secure new business opportunities with current and prospective customers.

    • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, driving customer leads through to purchase orders.

    • Generate quotations and proposals in collaboration with the Engineering and Project Management teams.

    • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships.

    • Manage sales activities within CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.

  • Strategic Market Expansion

    • Research and evaluate customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.

    • Define and implement strategies to enter new markets and customer segments.

    • Support the definition of new target markets and create go-to-market plans.

  • Innovation & Product Strategy

    • Identify complementary technologies and potential product enhancements.

    • Develop business cases to support expansion into new products and services.

    • Collaborate with product development teams to align business strategy with technical feasibility.

  • Leadership & Management

    • Oversee and mentor up to 2 direct reports within the sales and marketing team.

    • Actively contribute to the senior leadership team’s strategic direction and decisions.

    • Proactively identify areas requiring sales focus to maintain activity and growth.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • 7+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within theautomotive consulting industry.

  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, customer acquisition, and closing complex deals.

  • Strong skills with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), including setup, management, and reporting.

  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret market data.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and balancing technical and commercial needs.
