Senior Business Consultant - Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations

This is a virtual-first role based in the UK, with occasional travel to customer sites as needed. Your primary work environment will be remote, with occasional visits to physical offices to foster collaboration and strategy alignment.

We are looking for an experienced Business Professional or Consultant specializing in Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations to join our Business Consultancy team as a Senior or Principal Sales Engineer. This role involves supporting Sales Executives during prospecting and customer interactions, managing large-scale sales processes, and engaging in strategic discussions with top-tier clients to influence outcomes and drive business growth.

You will have the opportunity to influence product development based on market needs and customer feedback.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing client business processes, requirements, and challenges
• Aligning our product portfolio with client needs
• Providing functional and technical expertise during RFP processes
• Customizing product presentations and demonstrations
• Facilitating project handovers to implementation teams
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Representing QAD at trade shows and webinars
• Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices

Required qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing & Supply Chain processes and solutions (ERP, APS, MES, etc.)
• Experience working with industrial companies
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Strong data analysis skills
• Fluent in English (verbal and written); proficiency in an additional European language is a plus
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Knowledge of cloud computing is advantageous
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSCP, PMP, MBA, etc.) are valuable
