Job summary

DLA Piper LLP is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive business change initiatives across complex, international settings. You will engage with senior stakeholders from early discovery through to successful implementation, shaping scope, drivers, objectives and high-level requirements.

You will lead detailed BA activity across medium to large initiatives, translate needs into actionable requirements, and ensure proposed solutions deliver measurable value aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex organisations.
• End-to-end BA delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience on medium to large scale transformation programmes.
• Excellent requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
• Strong process analysis and mapping capability.
• Ability to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across medium and large change initiatives from discovery to implementation.
• Investigate complex problems, identify changes across processes, people, information, tech and roles.
• Define drivers, objectives, scope and early requirements.
• Work with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and feasibility.
• Take a holistic view of challenges, ensuring dependencies and value are clear.
• Use journey mapping to understand current and future state processes.
• Assess options, risk and strategic alignment; make recommendations.
• Perform impact analysis and identify trade-offs.
• Translate needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams.
• Challenge assumptions to ensure solutions address root needs.
• Support projects through full delivery lifecycle to implementation.
