Job summary

AJ Bell is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support growth and cost targets by delivering continuous improvements, new products and functionality. You will work with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and drive changes across the department.

You will mentor juniors, lead detailed specification and modelling, and create high-quality user stories for front-end web and mobile app solutions while ensuring gap, impact and risk analyses are completed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering BA services to support growth and cost targets.
• Ability to mentor junior staff or manage them directly.
• Lead for detailed specification and modelling using standard methods.
• Experience creating high quality user stories for front-end web and mobile apps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to present findings

Responsibilities

• Support business case development by identifying options and analysing costs, benefits, risks and impacts.
• Mentor junior staff or provide direct management as needed.
• Lead detailed specification and modelling of holistic solutions with cross-functional links.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops; present findings clearly.
• Help define holistic solutions addressing organisational, people, processes, information and tech aspects.
• Create high quality user stories for new/existing front-end web and mobile apps; ensure gap/impact/risk analysis.
• Identify areas for system/process improvements to boost customer value and efficiency.
• Ensure customers understand platforms and achieve best outcomes; validate business requirements.
