Job summary

Credit Benchmark Limited in London is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to strengthen its BA capability across agile delivery squads. You will shape, clarify, and drive product delivery by turning direction into well-structured epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and processes.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Strategy, engineering, QA, data and operations to challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and guide pragmatic decisions in a fast-moving fintech environment while mentoring

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst in fintech, financial services, data products, credit markets, risk, analytics, or a related domain.
• Significant experience in a data services or SaaS business.
• Strong practical experience of agile delivery, particularly Scrum.
• Proven ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and functional documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate product goals into clear, actionable delivery requirements with Product Owners and Product Strategy.
• Lead analysis across multiple squads, ensuring consistency and lineage of requirements.
• Break down initiatives into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Facilitate workshops and refinement sessions with business, product, engineering, QA, and operations.
• Support backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure clear, prioritised, delivery-ready backlogs.
• Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and ambiguity early, and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure requirements are testable and aligned to outcomes.
• Support UAT, release readiness, defect triage, and post-release review.
• Mentor or guide junior Business Analysts to raise BA practice standards.
