Job summary

Laing O'Rourke in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to design, document and digitally enable end-to-end business processes for a major transformation programme supporting manufacturing facilities. You will lead requirements, map processes, and work with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Developing and maintaining complex process maps in enterprise environments.
• Supporting delivery of business analysis activities with project teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Construction sector experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and clarification of business process goals with key stakeholders.
• Elicit, analyse and document requirements aligned with project objectives.
• Own process mapping approach, governance and toolsets.
• Develop end-to-end process maps to support design, digitisation and readiness.
• Collaborate with Digital Enablement to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Identify opportunities to optimise processes and drive efficiency.
• Produce high-quality business analysis documentation, including flows, use cases and requirements.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and support testing activities.
• Contribute to change management to support adoption of new systems.
• Drive continuous improvement using best practices and emerging tech.
