We develop data platforms, build data products, and create AI models to drive growth and revenue, supporting newsroom, marketing, advertising, and product teams. We focus on responsible data use, ensuring governance and ethical standards.

Your Role: As a Senior Business Analyst, you will focus on our first-party data warehouse and sources, supporting AI and data governance, and mentoring junior team members. You will liaise with stakeholders, ensuring clear requirements and smooth delivery using tools like BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform. Your role involves analyzing, documenting, and facilitating communication to ensure project success and promote best practices within the BA community.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Engaging with stakeholders to elicit and refine requirements.
• Assessing feasibility and viability of requirements using analytical techniques.
• Ensuring alignment during implementation and resolving issues.
• Building collaborative relationships across teams.
• Contributing to the BA discipline within the organization.

What we're looking for:

Business Analysis:

• Experience in Agile environments and digital data contexts.
• Ability to lead complex analysis and manage requirements with commercial insight.
• Excellent documentation and facilitation skills.
• Mentoring capabilities and contribution to BA standards.

Data Technologies:

• Experience with analytics, AI, data science, or personalization products.
• Knowledge of cloud data warehouses like GCP.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data quality, and SQL skills.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Strong relationship-building skills with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Agile Delivery:

• Experience managing projects through the full delivery lifecycle in agile settings.
• Ability to support and lead multiple initiatives.
