Senior Business Analyst Corporate Actions and Events

Would you like to dive into the fascinating world of financial information, deepen your knowledge of financial instruments in the reference and corporate actions data domain? If so, then you have come to the right place!

As part of a team of specialists, you will work on complex requirements related to reference data and corporate actions, aiming to provide high-quality services to our customers.

You will support the growing Corporate Actions team with your expertise in corporate actions and events, including integrating new data content and specifying detailed business requirements from a content, data mapping, and data flow perspective. A high affinity for technical contexts and effective communication with business representatives, IT architects, and developers are essential. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. The solutions and services you develop will be delivered as part of the SIX product portfolio, serving a broad international customer base.

What You Will Do

• Analyze multi-layered events, payments, and corporate action cases, describing their processing, maintenance, and delivery, with ISO15022 / ISO20022 standards playing a key role.
• Develop and describe solutions collaboratively with Product Management, Business and IT Architecture, IT Development, and Global Operations.
• Lead business acceptance testing and participate actively in customer communications.
• Collaborate proactively in an agile environment (SAFe Agile Framework).
• Represent solutions to diverse internal and external stakeholders to develop optimal services for clients.

What You Bring

• University degree, preferably in economics or business informatics, or a banking apprenticeship with further education.
• Profound knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
• In-depth knowledge of all types of events/corporate actions, including unstructured news and structured ISO formats.
• At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst in banking or banking software providers, focusing on securities processing, operations, business concepts, requirements, or standards.
• Strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and assertiveness across hierarchical levels and departments.
