Mourant Services (Jersey) Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive transformation across the firm. You will blend strategic analysis with hands-on delivery, leading initiatives from discovery to implementation and adoption.

You will translate governance and operational needs into practical technology solutions while overseeing software implementations, process improvements, and workflow automation programs.

Competenze

• Minimum five years' experience in trust, corporate, governance, fund administration, fiduciary or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Proven experience leading business analysis activities through the project lifecycle.
• Experience facilitating workshops and documenting requirements.
• Experience with financial and operational systems, reporting, billing and general ledger processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.

About you

• A minimum of five years' experience within a trust, corporate, governance, fund administration, fiduciary or professional services environment.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting processes and operational systems.
• Proven experience leading business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to testing, implementation and business adoption.
• Experience facilitating workshops, documenting requirements and producing project artefacts including business cases, process maps, user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working with financial and operational systems, including reporting, billing, bookkeeping and general ledger processes.
• Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive meaningful change.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid delivery environments.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance operational requirements with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional Business Analysis or Project Management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, AgilePM or IIBA) would be advantageous.
