The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a consultancy as they build out a multi-million pound project for a Public Sector organisation. It's an opportunity to get involved as the programme commences so your work will shape the long term success of the project. The role requires site presence in East London (Stratford) 2 days per week initially although there could be some flexibility over time. This programme will require candidates to be eligible for SC level security clearance. It's a data focused programme of work so any experience of acting as a BA in a Data centric project would be really beneficial.

The Role

You're going to be leading / supporting the Business Analysis phase of the programme and will be analysing complex problems and designing processes and applications.

Specific Tasks Include

• Establish and analyse key processes, their architectural components and associated operational procedures
• Lead reviews and help to define the Target Operating Model (TOM)
• Identify, meet and engage with key business stakeholders ensuring their requirements are captured and built in to the programme
• Help to translate requirements into stories for the developers and work with them to ensure design does fit business need
• Support User Acceptance Testing and recommend continuous improvement
  
  

The Person

• In depth experience as a Business Analyst working on complex high value programmes of work
• Experience of human / user centered design frameworks & processes
• Exposure / involvement in Data focused projects / applications
• Business process modelling / UML
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Ideally a background or exposure to Public Sector / Government projects
• Ideally certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile Scrum Master, ITIL 4 Foundation
  
  

The role is paying circa £65-75k and requires presence in the Stratford (East London) office initially 2 days per week but then with more flexibility as relationships and working patterns are established.
