  • Oversee screening processes for adverse media and sanctions, ensuring appropriate actions and documentation
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of training modules related to onboarding and compliance for both the team and wider business support functions
  • Liaise directly with clients to clarify and resolve compliance-related queries
  • Supervise and ensure the accuracy of conflict checks during the intake process as well as collaborate with legal and operational teams to assess conflict risks and contribute to their resolution
  • Lead a team of analysts and senior analysts, providing day-to-day line management, coaching, and development opportunities as well as conduct performance reviews, set individual goals, and offer regular feedback

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and onboarding processes within the professional services or legal sector
  • At least five years of relevant experience in compliance or risk functions, preferably with multi-jurisdictional exposure
  • Demonstrated people management expertise, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to navigate complex compliance queries with clarity and sound judgment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, legal professionals, and external clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the capacity to manage competing deadlines and priorities under pressure
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally as required
