Job summary

Building Careers UK Ltd seeks a Senior Building Surveyor for their Manchester team. The role involves a broad range of surveying and project work, with hybrid working and a base in Manchester.

You will manage projects from £10,000 up to £1 million, and collaborate with directors to deliver high‑quality professional advice. The ideal candidate will have extensive Building Surveying experience, strong technical knowledge, and be either RICS qualified or working towards membership, with a full UK

Qualifications

• Broad and varied building surveying experience.
• Proven experience as a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor.
• Experience with refurbishment, maintenance and project works.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking a broad range of building surveying instructions across commercial and residential property.
• Carrying out surveys, condition surveys and site inspections.
• Identifying defects and providing clear technical advice and recommendations.
• Preparing professional reports, schedules of works and specifications.
• Advising clients on refurbishment, maintenance and repair requirements.
• Supporting and managing refurbishment and improvement works.
• Assisting with contract administration and project management.
